When we say we are building this blog for you, we really mean it. There is plenty of content on the web, and you can find resources for just about anything. However, you choose to take your time to read our corner of the internet. We want to thank you. For transparency sake, we’d also like to let you know a bit of what you can expect and our thoughts about blogging.

When speaking technical, bloggers often talk about Search Engine Optimization (SEO) - which basically means making your content friendly to search engines like Google. When Google sees a page it likes, it ranks it high on the search results. We think bloggers sometimes focus to much on SEO and their content reflects it.

It’s not that were not interested in SEO (Google please don’t de-rank us for this post). And there will be many times, when we’re required to publish SEO friendly content. The two aren’t in fact mutually exclusive and writing good content often happens to be search engine friendly when enough people find it useful. Finally, to Google’s credit they are constantly adjusting their algorithm to favor long-term value providing content.

That’s enough about search engines. We built this for you.
